The picture above is not our camper, but pretty much what we bought.
Our sellers have told us about and shown us all of the updates and upgrades, and I trust Tom's instinct with the motor / engine. We bit the bullet and made an offer. First, it took lunch in Wakefield, and even though Tom was still uncertain, I've known him long enough to see he was pretty excited about this girl. All in all, we got a great deal, and we're very excited about getting the ball rolling on our dream.
So, from here forward, this blog is going to focus on the process of paying for this beast (I very worriedly extracted the cash from my account today, wrapped it in fish paper and have been nervously checking it every five minutes...) and picking her up tomorrow night, driving her back to the farm, and then, TO DO:
Begin paring down the STUFF.
Get down to selling the last of our herd
Dissolve the farm business
Revamping the inside which smells like stale cigarettes
Get rid of the farm truck
Get rid of the trailer
Finish college (May!)
Yard Sale (June!)
Test run to the Adirondacks for (hopefully, if I get in) Wakely Dam Ultra (50+K) (July!)
Get the house on the market (Spring 15!)
and much, much more. Stay tuned!
